The first Russian holder of the UFC championship belt Oleg Taktarov in a conversation with , he stated that he had not yet signed a contract for a fight with Jeff Monson.
Earlier, Monson told that he would be fighting Taktarov. The fight is scheduled for August 4.
– I haven’t signed a contract yet to fight Monson.
– Are you interested in fighting with Monson?
“I have big plans for the next two years, and I should warm up, I would like to feel like I’m in the ring again,” Taktarov told .
Monson has 60 wins in his MMA career, suffered 26 losses and one other fight ended in a draw. Taktarov, 55, is known as the first Russian fighter to win the organization’s belt at UFC 6 on July 14, 1995.
