Russian middleweight Ikram Aliskerov told that instead of Paolo Costa, who was injured, his opponent would be Roman Dolidze .
Aliskerov was originally scheduled to fight former Brazilian title contender Paolo Costa at UFC 291 on July 30. A few days ago it became known that a Brazilian fighter refused to fight with a Russian.
As Aliskerov himself told , his new opponent will be 35-year-old representative of Georgia Roman Dolidze (12 wins – 2 losses). In the last fight, Dolidze lost to Italian Marvin Vettori.
Aliskerov also noted that the fight will be moved from UFC 291 to a later tournament.
Aliskerov, 30,’s MMA stats are 14 wins and one loss (1-0 in the UFC).
