UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in his social networks suggested to the featherweight champion of the organization the Australian Alexander Volkanovski have a revenge.
Earlier, Makhachev announced on his social media his intention to fight promotional welterweight champion Leon Edwards. Volkanovski later reacted by writing that Makhachev “doesn’t need it”.
“In that case, fight,” Makhachev replied on his social media to Volkanovski’s message.
In October last year, Makhachev defeated Brazilian Charles Oliveira by knockout for the vacant UFC lightweight belt. He held a defense of the belt – in February this year in Australia, Makhachev unanimously took Alexander Volkanovski. In July, the Aussie defeated Mexican Yair Rodriguez and defended the UFC featherweight championship.
