Rematch between two former world champions Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) and Liam Smith (33-3-1, 20 KOs) will be held on September 2.
The rematch between Eubank Jr and Smith will take place at the AO Arena in Manchester. The match will be broadcast via the PPV system by Sky Sports Box Office.
Initially, the second fight between Chris and Liam was scheduled to take place on June 17, but the rematch date was postponed due to Smith’s injury, which he received in training camp.
The first fight between Eubank Jr. and Smith took place in January 2023 in Manchester. In the 4th round, Liam knocked Chris down twice and the referee stopped the fight.
Recall that Eubank Jr. twice owned the title of interim WBA middleweight champion. Smith was a former world welterweight champion.
