The main motives of the world boxing champion for the fight with the former champion of the UFC became known.

Tyson Fury only cares about money which is why he refused to fight Oleksandr Usyk. This was announced by former world boxing champion Carl Froch.

According to the legendary British athlete, he was talking to his compatriot. During the conversation, the WBC heavyweight title holder openly admitted that he agreed to fight former UFC champion Francis Ngannou for an impressive fee.

Fury will earn more for the fight with the Cameroonian than when he entered the ring with Alexander Usyk.

“It’s all about the money. This is the biggest heavyweight fight ever,” that’s what Fury told me. I asked: “Will you get paid for this fight more than any other fight you can agree to? Is this fight bigger than the fight with Oleksandr Usyk?”

He replied: “Yes, this fight is bigger. I will be paid more than I would receive for a duel with Usyk,” Boxing News 24 quoted Froch as saying.

The Fury vs Ngannou fight will take place on October 28.

We will remind, the previous former rival Fury talked about why the world champion avoids fights with strong opponents.
