Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian boxer Vartan Harutyunyan, training partner of British boxer Anthony Joshua, has shared his expectations for the upcoming fight between Joshua and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“Both boxers had enough time to recover. If Usyk accepted the fight, then there is nothing stopping him from doing so, even the events unfolding in his country. But I think Usyk will be more difficult psychologically in a match rematch, because now he has all the belts, it’s an even bigger responsibility than the first fight, and Joshua has nothing to lose.” Noted Harutyunyan.
In the first fight between Usyk and Joshua, which took place on September 25, 2021 in London, Great Britain, the Ukrainian boxer won by unanimous decision. Alexander won the unified WBA Super, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight titles. The rematch will take place on August 20, 2022 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
