Berinchik’s rival Yigit: It’s time to show the world that I’m back

The Swedish boxer emotionally commented on the upcoming fight against the Ukrainian

Swedish boxer Anthony Yigit (27-3-1, 10 KOs) commented on the fight scheduled for August 26 with the Ukrainian Denis Berinchyk (17-0, 9 KOs).

“Now it’s official! August 26 in Wroclaw I will enter the ring in a title fight against my former Olympic opponent, the undefeated Berinchyk! It’s time to show the world that I’m back!” Yigit wrote on his Instagram page.

The fight between Berinchyk and Yigit will take place on August 26 on the undercard of the Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois fight in Wroclaw.

In June, Berinchyk was supposed to fight 46-year-old Italian Emiliano Marsili. However, the Ukrainian refused to fight and vacated the EBU lightweight belt.

In the last fight, Berinchyk defeated French EBU title holder Ivan Mendy in a unification bout. After this victory, Denis signed a contract with Frank Warren’s promotional company.
