American Rob Police will be the rival of a compatriot Corey Sandhagen at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Nashville on Aug. 5, according to MMA Junkie.
Font, 36, will replace Russia’s Umar Nurmagomedov, who suffered a shoulder injury and withdrew from the tournament. The bantamweight bout between Nurmagomedov and Sandhagen was supposed to be the main event of the evening.
Sandhagen is 31 years old, in mixed martial arts, he won 16 victories, suffered four defeats. In the last fight, the American in March defeated Marlon Vera by split decision. Font has won 20 fights with six losses.
