Audie Attar, manager of the Irish former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor said the fighter intends to resume his career in 2024.
Attar noted that the athlete intends to comply with all anti-doping rules upon his return.
Everyone forgets that Conor was one of the most tested athletes when he competed. Now we follow the rules. We are actively negotiating with the UFC, we have discussed with the American Anti-Doping Agency.
People are going to speculate and tell stories that nine times out of ten will be very inaccurate and false, so that’s all I can say about that. But, of course, Conor wants to come back in 2024,” Attar quotes MMA Junkie.
McGregor last entered the octagon in the summer of 2021 against American Dustin Poirier. The Irishman lost by TKO in the first round, suffering a broken leg.
