Russian mixed martial artist Alexander Shlemenko announced that he wanted to fight a second fight against Magomed Ismailov after losing the RCC tournament.
On Friday, Shlemenko in the main event of the SFC 8 tournament in Omsk defeated Brazilian Alex Oliveira by first-round choke. For the 39-year-old Russian, this is the first victory since October 17, 2021. The first fight between Shlemenko and Ismailov took place last December and became one of the most expensive fights in Russian MMA history: each brought in $300,000. Ismailov won by unanimous decision.
