– This is my 80th professional fight, but I don’t remember such tension in my life. I did not sleep. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I was so worried! And, unfortunately, in previous fights I broke my nose, it’s a very terrible injury that prevents me from living. And in two days we will fly away with Andrei Koreshkov [в Японию]. I thought that suddenly something was going to happen and I wouldn’t be able to fly. But all is well, there are no injuries.
– Who called you right after the fight?
“This is my eight-year-old son, Sviatoslav. He is now in the camp, not sleeping. He trains, says, “Dad, well done. Strangled at the guillotine.”
– Do you feel like you are starting a new stage in your career?
‘I’m glad to have kept the enemies’ mouths a little shut. Of course, they will offer a lot, but at least slightly folded. And then I’ll try to shut up even more. A lot of things happened in my life, I threw away unnecessary people’s ballast. Moved the promotion, it’s a new big step for us. All our guys won, – the correspondent of “” reports the words of Shlemenko.
