Russian boxer world champion 2023 Sharabutdin Ataev admitted that he did not prepare well for the duel with his compatriot Nail Dzhandaliev.
On Saturday, Ataev defeated Dzhandaliev by unanimous decision. The 2023 world champion in the weight category up to 86 kg now has five victories in the professional ring. Initially, Ataev’s opponent was Akbarjon Askarov from Uzbekistan, but the boxer could not enter the ring due to medical reasons. Dzhandaliev left at short notice.
