23rd knockout in the professional career of a Ukrainian
WBC Continental Americas junior middleweight champion Sergei Bogachuk defeated Ghanaian boxer Patrick Allot and defended his title.
The fight took place in the city of Santa Ynez in California. Already in the first round, the Ukrainian managed to strike, after which the opponent lost his balance and fell into the ring. The referee stopped the fight, awarding Sergey a victory by knockout.
The Ukrainian held the second defense of the WBC Continental Americas title. Earlier, Bogachuk defeated American Nathaniel Gallimore by knockout in the sixth round.
Sergei won the 23rd victory in his professional career, all of them were obtained by knockout. Bogachuk’s only defeat was inflicted by Brandon Adams in March last year.
