The Ukrainian believes that the British boxer has a chance in a fight with Oleksandr Usyk
Ukrainian welterweight boxer Ivan Redkach believes the British heavyweight Daniel Dubois has a chance to win the fight with the world champion according to WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight title Oleksandr Usyk.
“Dubois has a chance. He’s a real heavyweight and if he can get one accented punch to the target, he can decide the fate of the fight. This is boxing, not checkers or chess. One hit and the fight is over,” Redkach said.
The duel between Usyk and Dubois is officially announced on August 26. The fight will take place in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. It was reported that Usyk will receive 75% of the total prize fund – $6 million. Dubois can count on 25% – 2 million.
Alexander in his last fight again defeated Briton Anthony Joshua, defending his belts. Dubois defeated Kevin Lerena by TKO in December and retained the status of the mandatory contender for the WBA belt, owned by the Ukrainian.
