The promoter of the British boxer believes that if Usyk meets his ward, the Ukrainian has no chance
Frank Warrenpromoter of the WBC World Heavyweight Championship Tyson Furycommented on the outcome of a likely fight between his ward and the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF titles, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
Warren is confident that if such a fight takes place, his “outcome is a foregone conclusion.”
“I work with Tyson, so you know what my answer will be. I prefer it at any time of the day. I think he’s too big, too fast and too strong for Usyk. I believe that the outcome is a foregone conclusion,” the promoter said in an interview with Boxing Social.
Recall that Tyson Fury will hold his next fight on October 26 in Riyadh against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. The WBC granted Tyson a special permit for this fight.
“The Gypsy King” has not entered the ring since December 2022, when he defended the WBC title against Derek Chisora. In April, Fury planned to have a unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk, but the Ukrainian pulled out of negotiations due to contract disagreements.
Usyk will fight his next fight on August 26 in Wroclaw against British heavyweight Daniel Dubois. In July, Alexander signed a one-year contract with the Polissya football club.
