The former WBA and IBF heavyweight champion has 30 wins (23 by KO) with one loss. At heavyweight, Gassiev has been performing since the fall of 2020 and in that time he has had four first wins. In his last fight in March in Yerevan, the 29-year-old Russian knocked out American Mike Balogun in the second round.

Gassiev is ranked 11th in the WBA and IBF heavyweight rankings, Bakola is second (WBA), eighth (WBC) and 12th (IBF), Wallin is 9th (WBO), 10th (IBF) and 11th (WBC).
