TopFight promotion manager Marat Sidikeev told that Taktarov and Monson will fight under MMA rules, the contract for the fight has already been signed.

Monson has 60 wins in his MMA career, suffered 26 losses and one other fight ended in a draw. Taktarov, 55, has 17 wins, five losses and two draws in MMA. Taktarov’s last official fight was on April 11, 2008.
