Athletistic/Boxing. The fight between WBO, WBC and IBF light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and British boxer Callum Smith has been given a new date.
According to information provided by the press service of the promotion company Top Rank Boxing, the fight will now take place on January 13, 2024 in Quebec City, Canada.
It is known that on July 30 it was announced that the fight between Beterbiev and Smith was postponed, which was originally scheduled to take place on August 19. The reason for the transfer was a jawbone infection in a Russian athlete.
Artur Beterbiev has 19 wins in 19 professional fights, all of which ended in a knockout. While Callum Smith, 33, has 29 wins, including 21 by knockout, and only one loss.
