UFC President Dana White officially announced the title fight, which will meet the New Zealand fighter Israel Adesanya and american Sean Strickland .
The fight will headline the card at UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia on September 10.
Adesanya fought his last fight in April this year, where he regained his middleweight title after knocking out Alex Pereira in a rematch.
In total, the New Zealander spent 26 fights in MMA and won 24. Due to number five in the middleweight rankings, Strickland has 27 wins in 32 fights.
