Nurmagomedov in the first round of the Grand Prix defeated former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson (30-12) via first-round submission. The fight took place on March 10 at Bellator 292 in San Jose, United States.
Primus in the first round of the Grand Prix defeated Mansour Barnawi (20-5) by unanimous decision. The fight took place on May 12 at Bellator 296 in Paris, France.
