Finnish boxer Robert Helenius believes that a fight with the former world champion will bring him back to the big fights.
Robert Helenius considers himself very lucky to fight Anthony Joshua. Remember that the Finnish boxer should not meet in a duel with the former world champion. He replaced Briton Dillian Whyte, who failed a doping test, as a rival.
Helenius believes that for him the upcoming match in London is his chance to return to the championship confrontations.
“For me, this opportunity is everything! I’ve been chasing a championship fight for 15 years and I still haven’t reached it. I’ve had injuries, I’ve had big fights since 2009. Then I had a very serious injury. . But I’ve been in this game for a very long time, and I think the opportunity I’ve been given is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Helenius was quoted as saying by vringe.com.
Note that Helenius only had his previous fight on August 5 this year. He defeated compatriot Mika Mielonen. Joshua in his last fight in March 2023 defeated American Jermain Franklin. The fight lasted all of 12 rounds.
Boxers used to have a fighting perspective.
