Coach Fedor Emelianenko in boxing, Alexander Michkov spoke about the boxing skills of one of the most famous fighters in the world of mixed martial arts.
Earlier, Emelianenko, 46, said he was ending his MMA career after 48 professional fights but did not rule out the possibility of boxing. Emelianenko named Mike Tyson, who retired in 2005, as one of the possible rivals.
– Fedor at the top of his form at 30 would he have completed the master of sports in boxing?
– Look, at least he would be an international specialist.
– It’s even difficult to imagine visually, but have you ever seen Fedor in boxers, in professional shoes?
He never had a boxer. Why does he need boxing shoes? We want him to be barefoot. Sometimes the fight was with professional boxers, but then he trained with sneakers.
– Did he ever tell you that he wanted such a fight?
– He once said that they offered him a boxing match. There was no talk about rivals, he didn’t say anything like that,” Michkov told .
