Saudi officials arrive in London to finalize Joshua-Wilder deal

The fight is scheduled to take place in January.

Saudi officials arrive in London to finalize deal to fight two ex-world champions Anthony Joshua And Deontay Wilder in January 2024.

“Everyone is desperate to have this fight. The Saudis need to be sure that we will finally get contracts and organize the fight, ”said promoter Eddie Hearn.

Hearn previously said that Joshua’s fight with Wilder could take place no earlier than January 2024. According to the promoter, the date depended on the outcome of AJ’s fight with Dillian Whyte. After White’s failed doping test, Finn Robert Helenius will be Anthony’s next opponent.

On August 12, Helenius and Joshua will face off in London at the O2 Arena. The fight will be broadcast via PPV system by DAZN.

Joshua defeated American Jermain Franklin in his last fight in March. The fight lasted all 12 rounds.
