Anthony will fight Robert Helenius on the evening of August 12
Promoter Frank Warren said that he would organize the fight of the ex-world champion Anthony Joshua with WBC title holder Tyson Furyif I was doing A.J. business.
“If I was Anthony Joshua’s promoter, I would have him fight Tyson Fury. I would even put him against Fury two months after his fight with Alexander Usyk, he did not lose in that fight. It may have been a psychologically traumatic outcome for Joshua, but psychologically he has been gone for several years.”
“You wouldn’t really want to see Joshua in the ring against Usyk again. So if he’s not going to fight Usyk, who has the most belts, and he doesn’t want to fight WBC belt holder Tyson Fury, then what does he want to do? Does he think he’ll get better when he can fight other guys? That’s what they’re trying to sell, and they’re selling bullshit.”
Joshua will fight Robert Helenius. The Finnish boxer replaced Dillian Whyte, who had previously failed a doping test.
After the fight with Helenius, Joshua is set to fight former world champion Deontay Wilder. Earlier, representatives of Saudi Arabia arrived in London to finalize a deal to fight the two former belt holders.
Joshua and Helenius were weighed in. The weight of the British was 113.4 kg, the Finnish boxer showed almost the same result – 113.13 kg.
Recall that the fight between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius will be the flagship fight of the evening of August 12. The event will take place in London at the O2 Arena. The fight will be broadcast via PPV system by DAZN.
