President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev shared his impressions of the box race dedicated to the World Friendship Games 2024 on .
The festival was timed to coincide with Athlete’s Day. The boxing race was organized with the participation of the Russian Boxing Federation and is dedicated to the World Friendship Games scheduled for 2024.
– A wonderful vacation. It is planned to organize races in each country to promote the World Friendship Games. It’s a huge event. In no way an alternative to the Olympics. It is the movement that enables equality for all athletes. All athletes have rights, there are no restrictions, everyone gets prize money,” Kremlev told .
The first-ever Friendship Games will take place September 15-29 next year in Moscow and Yekaterinburg. Aleksey Sorokin, chief executive of the tournament’s organizing committee, told that 27 sports and 24 international federations will be represented at the competition.
