Athletistic/ Boxing. Olympic boxing champion Albert Batyrgaziev explained his refusal to participate in a sparring demonstration with figure skater Alina Zagitova, which will be held on June 25 as part of Moscow Sports Day.
“Unfortunately, due to an old injury that bothered me in the last fight, I really won’t be able to participate in an open training session with Alina Zagitova, which was supposed to take place as part of the Sports Day of Moscow on June 25.”, Batyrgaziev is quoted by the “Championship” in reference to “RIA Novosti Sport”. Batyrgaziev added that he liked the idea of training with Zagitova, and he regrets that the injury prevented him from participating in this event.
Oleg Saitov, a 48-year-old Oleg Saitov, two-time Olympic champion, world championship winner and two-time European champion, became Zagitova’s new rival.
