Kuznetsova (weight category up to 52 kg) defeated the representative of Mongolia Nomintuyu Enkhbaatar in the first round.
In the next fight, the Russian judoka’s rival will be Jung Ye Rin from South Korea.
Another Russian Lilia Nugayeva, competing in the same weight class, defeated Gal-Od Tserentogtokh from Mongolia in the first bout. To reach the semi-finals, Nugayeva will compete with Israeli Gefen Primo.
Russian athletes participate in the tournament in Mongolia as neutral athletes under the flag of the International Judo Federation (IJF).
