Russian judoka Umar Ozdoev said he won the All-Russian competition final in memory of VM Andreev because of his attitude towards his opponent.
All-Russian competitions take place in Moscow from August 16-17. Ozdoev became the winner of the competition in the category up to 73 kg, in the final he defeated Nikita Nazarov.
– The final was quick, I wouldn’t say there was a big difference between my level and the level of the opponent. I approached the tournament seriously, I went through training camp, the opponent was good, but I was lucky.
I don’t think he listened to me. Very good organization of the competition, there were no disputes between referees, I am satisfied. The next tournament will be in Kemerovo – the championship of Russia. I want to get into the national team there, – said Ozdoev “”
