Athletistic/ Boxing. John Fury – the father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – wished Briton Anthony Joshua luck in the rematch with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
“I would like Anthony to succeed. He gave us great evenings, he didn’t run away from anyone and always fought. You have to give this guy credit. He’s young and I’m sure with his physical characteristics, he can win the title in the third. Good luck Anthony, he’s a good guy!” Fury noted.
The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In the first fight between these boxers, which took place on September 25, 2021 in London, UK, Usyk won by unanimous decision.
