The prize fund of the Russian boxing championship for men in Khabarovsk will amount to 26 million rubles, according to the website of the Russian Boxing Federation.
The Russian Championship will take place from August 18 to 26 in Khabarovsk. Tournament winners will receive 1.5 million rubles each, silver medalists – 250,000 rubles each, bronze medalists – 125,000 rubles each. In total, more than 320 athletes from 60 regions of the country will take part in the Russian championship. The competitions will take place in 13 weight categories.
Last year, the prize money for the Russian championship in Chita also amounted to 26 million rubles and at that time was the largest in the history of the competition.
The Russian Championship will be broadcast on the channels, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru sites.
