Coach Dubois: We expect Daniel to be accompanied by an unfriendly atmosphere in the battle with Usyk

The championship fight will take place on August 26

Mentor to WBA Regular heavyweight title holder Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) Don Charles commented on the upcoming fight with the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).

“At that moment, when we lost at the auction, the first thing that came to mind was that there [в Польше] there will be a very unfriendly atmosphere. After all, it is obvious that in Poland now [пребывает] about 250 thousand Ukrainians. So we expect an unfriendly atmosphere [в бою с Усиком]”.

The battle between Usyk and Dubois will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. The championship fight will be shown by the MEGOGO media service.

On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight, WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Yaroslav Khartsyz, Vasily Chebotar, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin and others will enter the ring.

The referee in the ring will be the representative of Puerto Rico – Luis Pabon. Stanley Christodolu (South Africa), as well as representatives of Poland – Pawel Cardini and Leszek Jankowiak, will take care of the judging.
