Olympian Audley Harrison: Usyk can be beaten with proper pressure

British Veteran Shares Valuable Advice With Dubois

Former British heavyweight, Sydney Olympic champion and ex-European champion Audley Harrison turned to the WBA Regular heavyweight title holder Daniel Dubois with advice on how he can beat a WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“The way to your victory over Usyk (as well as to my victory over Alexei Lezin) lies through competent pressure.”

“You can’t just step in and hit. You need to eliminate his strengths; add feints, remove his jab, move around, throw a lot of jabs at a high pace to the body, hips and arms – and then he will not notice the right hand.

In 2000, on the way to the Olympic “gold” Harrison beat the representative of Russia Alexei Lezin.

The battle between Usyk and Dubois will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. The referee in the ring will be Puerto Rican Luis Pabon. The championship fight will be shown by the MEGOGO media service.

On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight, WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Yaroslav Khartsyz, Vasily Chebotar, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin and others will enter the ring.
