Datsik defeated Thompson in a boxing match

Athletistic/MMA. Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik defeated Briton Oli Thompson in the REN TV Fight Club competition. In the first round, the judge decided to stop the fight, announcing a technical knockout and fixing the victory for Datsik. During the final phase of the fight, the fighters clashed heads in the ring. Despite protests from the British, the outcome of the battle was not revised.

In the previous fight, Vyacheslav Datsik was defeated by Kazakh Galymzhan Zhaslanov by majority decision of the judges. In turn, Oli Thompson in May met another Russian fighter, former UFC participant Alexei Oleinik, and won by knockout in the first round. Before the start of the fight with Thompson, Vyacheslav Datsik said his goal in this fight was retribution for Thompson’s victory over Oleinik. At the end of the fight, Vyacheslav emphasized that he had achieved his goal.
