MMA fighter Vladimir Mineev started training camp in Dagestan ahead of fight in Elista

Russian MMA fighter Vladimir Mineev began training ahead of the scheduled September 15 fight in Elista.

AMC Fight Nights middleweight champion Mineev has temporarily left the CBO zone to prepare for a kickboxing bout. Mineev’s opponent, 33, will be 37-year-old former Bellator League fighter, Brazilian Rafael Carvalho.

“I took a planned vacation early to prepare for and the fight itself,” Mineev told .

In MMA, the fighters have 16 wins each, Mineev also has a loss and a draw, and Carvalho has 7 lost fights.

In 2022, Mineev played kickboxing rules twice, beating Erko Jun and Fernando Rodriguez. Since February 2023, the fighter has joined the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the NMD zone.
