TANI vs KHASAEV
On the eve of his 28th birthday, ONE veteran Agilan Tani gave himself a great gift by beating undefeated Russian fighter Magomedmurad Khasaev. After a short exchange, the fight quickly went to the canvas. Khasaev was unable to gain a foothold on the mountain and finish. Two-time Russian and world kickboxing champion Elbrus “Dagestan Samurai” Osmanov remained undefeated, beating Vile Karroumi, who represents Morocco and the Netherlands, in a fight under kickboxing rules at bantamweight ONE (65 .8 kg). The fight went all the way.
In the first round, Osmanov controlled the pace of the fight, moved faster than the opponent and immediately showed a good arsenal of kicks and knees. In the middle of the second round, the damage inflicted by Osmanov on the enemy’s body and legs was very noticeable. In round three, it became clear that despite having good technique, Karrumi couldn’t find the distance and pace to face Osmanov. According to the results of the duel, the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the Russian. With the win, Osmanov took his win total to nine and one step closer to a long-term contract with ONE Championship.
