Derevyanchenko: Usyk is a dominant heavyweight, he should pass Dubois without any problems

The fight of the Ukrainian champion will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw

Ukrainian middleweight Sergey Derevyanchenko expressed confidence that the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk confidently defeat the British heavyweight Daniel Dubois.

“Usyk is the absolute favorite in this fight. In my opinion, he should pass Dubois without any problems. Daniel can’t handle his technical and tactical skills.”

“Also, I won’t be original if I add that this is a heavy weight, and you have to be careful, but I’m sure Alexander himself knows this. Dubois’ chance is only for a knockout. He is much lower in technical class than Usyk.”

“Usyk is the absolute dominant of the heavyweight. He proved it in two fights with Joshua.”

The battle between Usyk and Dubois will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. The championship fight will be shown by the MEGOGO media service.

It was reported that Usyk would receive 75% of the total prize fund – $6 million. Dubois can count on 25% – 2 million.

On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight, WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Yaroslav Khartsyz, Vasily Chebotar, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin and others will enter the ring.
