New UFC American Bantamweight Champion Shauna O’Malley will be taken seriously after winning the title. A Russian fighter shared this opinion with Valery Myasnikov .
O’Malley knocked out Aljamain Sterling in the second round of UFC 292 in Boston (USA) on Saturday and became the promotion’s new bantamweight champion.
“Like I said, this O’Malley guy knows how to surprise – he had a very disciplined first round and, it seems to me, deliberately did what he did in the second. I heard the fight had stopped a little early, but I think everything is adequate in this regard.
Probably, now many will reconsider their attitude to Sean and begin to take him more seriously, not as a random passenger. Would I like to see a rematch?
