Dubois: Fans can’t fight for Usyk

The Briton promised to “tear off the legs and break the body” to the Ukrainian champion

WBA Regular heavyweight title holder Daniel Dubois spoke about his readiness to fight against the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk.

“This is the moment every heavyweight in this division is working to get these belts. Now my time has come and I must seize my chance with both hands.”

The British heavyweight paints his plans for the fight:

“We have to tear off his legs and break his body. That’s what I’m talking about. Respect, yes. I trained hard for him; that’s the respect he’ll get.”

“I worked hard for him, suffered in the training camp. Now it’s time for a good fight. Do it for the family.”

“Fans will be for Usyk? Everything is fine. Yes, let them go, let them shout, let them shout. They can’t fight for him.”

The battle between Usyk and Dubois will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. The championship fight will be shown by the MEGOGO media service.

On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight, WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Yaroslav Khartsyz, Vasily Chebotar, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin and others will enter the ring.
