Brazilian loses title dispute, and male has new champion

Thus, the Chinese remained with the title and a good two-year undefeated streak without knowing what it is to be defeated.

The main event was headlined by Aljamain Sterling, the holder of the belt until then, and Sean O’Malley, the challenger. After a studied first round and alternating good moments, the American decided the fight at the beginning of the second round, knocking out his opponent and making the judge stop the fight.

Thus, O’Malley became the new champion and increased his good record of 9 wins in 10 commitments since entering the UFC. On the other hand, Sterling lost his long unbeaten streak, and will have to return to the octagon to try to recover the belt against the American.
