Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor says when he can return to the octagon.
McGregor was supposed to fight the American Michael Chandler at the UFC tournament in December, but did not pass the mandatory doping test.
“They won’t let me fight in December, ladies and gentlemen. I would like to announce my fight on December 16 because I gave everything. But apparently, this fight will not take place.
But either way I’m going to keep doing my thing, I’m in great shape and hope to see you early next year,” McGregor said in a social media audio post.
McGregor, 35, last entered the octagon in the summer of 2021 against American Dustin Poirier. The Irishman lost by TKO in the first round, suffering a broken leg.
