Russian sambists will perform at the World Cup in Kyrgyzstan under the flag of the International SAMBO Federation (FIAS), according to the organization’s website.
Teams from Armenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, China, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan will also participate in the competition.
— This year we are resuming the practice of organizing SAMBO World Cups on different continents. By increasing the number of international competitions, we help athletes gain new experiences and improve their professional skills. This is especially true given the Olympic prospects for our sport, as in 2021 FIAS received permanent recognition from the IOC.

The tournament will take place from August 22 to 23 in Cholpon-Ata.
