Ukrainian champion – about the British opponent
WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO Champion Oleksandr Usyk shared his opinion about his closest rival, the British heavyweight Daniele Dubois.
“I respect Dubois. Some people on the Internet somehow underestimate this. I treat each of my opponents with great respect.”
“This is a contender, and I need to do what is in front of me. If he claims, then I need to box with him. I’m not going to run from someone or look for convenient moments for myself. I don’t really pay attention to criticism and other people’s opinions, but if it’s necessary, then it must be done.”
“I can’t say that I followed him a lot, but from some point I watched his fights, watched who he boxed with. I understood that, perhaps, someday I would have to box with this guy.
