Deontay considers Usyk the favorite to fight Dubois
Former World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder commented on the upcoming fight between the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO title holder Oleksandr Usyk and British heavyweight, WBA Regular title holder Daniel Dubois.
“I think Usyk will win by knockout. It seems to me that it will be a knockout in the eighth round. I don’t think Dubois has fully recovered from his injury.”
“But we don’t come up with any excuses. No more excuses. We just wish him all the best on Saturday as he tries for titles. [Усика]Wilder said.
The battle between Usyk and Dubois will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. The championship fight will be shown by the MEGOGO media service.
On the undercard of the Usyk-Dubois fight, WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk, Dmitry Mitrofanov, Yaroslav Khartsyz, Vasily Chebotar, Fedor Cherkashin, Daniel Lapin and others will enter the ring.
The referee in the ring is the representative of Puerto Rico Luis Pabon. Stanley Christodolu (South Africa), as well as representatives of Poland – Pawel Cardini and Leszek Jankowiak, will take care of the judging.
