Finn in a duel with AJ replaced Dillian Whyte, who also failed a doping test
Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius passed a positive doping test before the fight with the former world champion Anthony Joshua.
“The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) has advised that Robert Helenius provided an Adverse Analytical Finding as part of an unscheduled anti-doping test. Helenius was voluntarily tested on Friday 11 August ahead of his loss to Anthony Joshua in London on Saturday 12 August. The result became known today,” said promotional company Matchroom Boxing.
Joshua knocked out Robert in the seventh round. Recall that the Finnish boxer was urgently invited to fight instead of Dillian Whyte, who had also previously failed a doping test.
Helenius suffered his fifth career loss and his second in a year. Last fall, the Finn lost by knockout to Deontay Wilder in the first round.
