The world champion thanked the Ukrainian army after the duel with Dubois
WBA/WBO/IBO/IBF World Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk said after defeating the Briton Daniel Duboisthat he is ready to fight the owner of the WBC belt in the next fight Tyson Fury.
“I’m ready. In the next fight, I am ready to fight Tyson Fury, but does Tyson want this? ”said the Ukrainian.
“I feel myself good. I am grateful to my team, my family, my children. I love you. I am grateful to my country and the Ukrainian army. Thank you very much”.
“Boxing is a tough sport, but I am great. This is boxing and I love it. I respect my opponent, but this is boxing, not ballet. It’s a royal sport.”

At the end of the eighth round, Usyk knocked down Dubois, but the Briton managed to get up and continue the fight. And in the ninth round, the Ukrainian knocked out the Briton after another accurate blow.
For the Ukrainian undefeated boxer, this victory was the 21st in the professional ring, the 14th time Usyk ended the fight ahead of schedule. Dubois suffered the second defeat of his career.
