Fury’s father: Tyson may return to fight Joshua

In August, Anthony will have a second fight with Usyk

John Fury, father of the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Furysupported Anthony Joshua before his second fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua will try to redeem himself after losing to the Ukrainian last September, which cost the Englishman four heavyweight titles.

“I want Joshua to succeed. In my opinion, he has not yet achieved everything, he is better than he might seem. He just needs the right people around him. I always have time for Anthony. He gave us some cool evenings, avoided no one, fought with everyone, ”said Fury Sr.

“You have to give credit to Joshua for fighting everyone that was put in front of him. Yes, he lost, but he boxed, right? He is still young. I believe with his size, strength, with the extra motivation, if he uses his head more, he can win the title for a third time. And who knows, maybe the Gypsy King will return. But good luck Anthony, he’s a good guy.”

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The live broadcast of the fight will be organized by the DAZN streaming service.

In April, after a convincing victory over Dillian Whyte, Fury announced his retirement, but still has not vacated the WBC championship belt.
