Athletistic/Boxing. AMC Fight Nights director Kamil Hajiyev has expressed his thoughts on the fight between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Britain’s Daniel Dubois. Usyk won by technical knockout in the ninth round. During the fight, in the fifth round, Dubois landed a blow to the belt, following which Usyk fell to the ground and had a few minutes to recover. The referee recognized this blow as illegitimate, while the Briton’s team and Dubois himself declared that it was in accordance with the rules.

“Usyk beat Dubois, defending his titles. There was a controversial moment with a groin blow. Most likely, that blow actually happened. In fact, Usyk won that fight. He still remains an opponent strong. Before, I would love to see them fight Fury, however, now with all the variety of circumstances, my opinion has changed. I thought Usyk was a serious threat to Fury, but now I don’t think so. At the same time, Usyk “He has Olympic experience, he is a great boxer and always knows how to use the right tactics. This fight with Fury has to happen. We will follow this event no matter what,” shared his opinion on his YouTube channel.

  • Usyk answered if he could continue the fight with Dubois if the referee counts the knockdown
