Athletistic/Boxing. Oleksandr Krasyuk, the promoter of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, has expressed his position on Briton Daniel Dubois’ intention to challenge the outcome of the title fight.

Last weekend, Usyk knocked out Dubois in the 9th round and retained the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles. Later, Dubois’ promoter announced his intention to appeal the fight’s outcome, pointing out the referee’s error.

“The chances of success are nil, maybe even lower,” Krasyuk said in an interview with Sky Sports.

In the fifth round, Dubois landed a blow that sent Usyk into a deep knockdown, but the judge recognized the blow as forbidden (below the waist) and gave the Ukrainian five minutes to recover from the blow.
