Former world welterweight champion Sean Porter questioned the integrity of the Ukrainian boxer.

Oleksandr Usyk was dishonest and faked hitting Daniel Dubois. This is what former world welterweight champion Shawn Porter said.

The American boxer said that in fact it could be a forbidden blow, but at the same time, the Ukrainian somehow behaved in a theatrical way.

“I don’t think that in the fight Usyk was looking for an opportunity to lose. And I don’t think that the blow weakened him. He just played. Here is one of two things: either a spectacular blow below the belt, or a blow to the solar plexus. I have never seen a man so bent from the blow to the solar plexus, besides, the blow went down. And how, then, was he brought to earth? belts!

Punching is forbidden. But I’ve never seen anyone go crazy after that,” Porter said on The Porter Way Podcast.

Earlier, the WBA released an official statement regarding Dubois’ strike in a fight with Usyk.
