He last entered the ring in February in Moscow, when he tied the fight with Argentinian Emiliano Pucheta. – You boxed six months ago. Not rusty?

No, I don’t rust. There were serious fights, but the training, of course, is different. As usual, we prepared seriously. Basically, there was nothing new, there was more sparring, – the correspondent reports Madiev’s words.

Did you miss the ring?

– Yes, I’m bored. They promised to organize the fight earlier, I was thinking of boxing in July. But I happen to be in the ring at the end of August.

How would you rate your form?

— Closer to the ideal. There’s room to strive, it’s not even close to ideal, but I’m trying. I rate it between 80 and 90 percent.

– How do you rate your opponent?

– He is strong. I watched his fights, I saw that he hits hard.

– The feeling that you have confidence in your abilities.

– Well, when you go through a difficult camp, you are always safe. And there already, how it will happen, only the Almighty knows. But I’m sure everything will be fine.

The tournament will be broadcast live on on August 31. The start of the program on “Match! Fighter” – at 8:30 p.m. Moscow time, and on “” – at 10:45 p.m. Moscow time.
